Course Details

Duration: 1 year (1200 hours + 150 hours of On-the-Job Training (OJT) or Group Project)

Entry Qualification: Passed 10th class examination

Minimum Age: 14 Years

-Sketching rough sketch and design elements
-Fabric rendering and embroidery techniques
-Garment design using Corel Draw
-Draping techniques and quality assurance

Evaluation

Assessment

Continuous Assessment: Internal evaluations throughout the training via formative assessment methods.

Final Assessment: All-India Trade Test conducted by the DGT.

Pass Regulation

Minimum of 60% for Trade Practical and Formative assessments

Minimum of 33% for all other subjects

Employment opportunities as Craftsman, Senior Craftsman, Supervisor, or Manager in the fashion industry..
Possibility to become an entrepreneur in fashion design.
